Tanya Hall Shepherd Young - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Cuba, New York

$425

Saved in honor of DVM Dr.Kathy Hall's retirement!
This transport was taken in thankfulness and respect to Dr. Kathy Hall, by the Saetta Family: From the Saetta's: My husband and I have three rescue dogs, Gracie, Honey Dew and Lady. Honey Dew and Lady were adopted from Joyful Rescues. My veterinarian, Dr. Kathleen Hall, recently retired from her practice. In honor of her, I wanted to sponsor this rescue. Dr. Kathy is so full of wisdom and compassion for both the animals and their humans. My dog, Carol (shown in photo), was my first dog to be under Dr. Kathy's care. Carol lived until she was 16 years old. Her longevity was due in large part to the great care she received from Dr. Kathy. Gracie, Honey Dew and Lady were also under her care. Thank you, Dr. Kathy, for all that you did for all the animals. You are truly a gift. This rescue is also to remember the dogs who crossed the rainbow bridge, Most recently, my friend's dog Max, who passed away in December.

Tanya was born about December 24, 2017 and will likely weigh in the 50 lb. range give or take 10-20 lbs. LOL! Truly, we just have no idea what breeds the "T" Hall pups are mixed with and absolutely no clue of parentage. They came to us as Fiest/Shepherd mixes, but we are squinting and guessing we see some Shepherd or Husky due to the fluff and the thickness of fur on their back legs. Then we notice that, particularly, Tanya has a stubbed nose and a high forehead which could be Boxer or Pit. Whatever their genetics they are gorgeous, sweet, and full of life and adore their foster humans! They are going to be a lot of fun for their new families! This is all we know so far as we are learning as we go and so will you. The southern shelter feels it is embarrassing to ask humans why they must relinquish their dogs as the reason is so often financial in the coal mining area of Virginia.
